I've never been a fan of '80's "glitzy pop" so I wasn't going to read this as I associate SE with that genre. I enjoyed those books do much, that when I realized that this book was some sort of a prequel, if you will, involving the endearing Chris Jung, then I couldn't wait to go back in time and see what he was up to. My only gripe is that the book appears never to have been copy-edited.
